NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Thursday, February 5, 2026 @ 6 PM

To consider any and all testimony on Special Use Permit (SU-25-5)

In accordance with Idaho Code 67-6512, the Dalton Gardens Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing and take oral and written public testimony for the special use permit application request SU-25-5 submitted by the applicant, Christina Hayward, 1042 W. Springfield Drive, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho authorized representative for the Hus Corporation, owner of the subject property. The applicant requests a special use permit to locate a Light Industrial use in the Commercial Zone, specifically Bridgeview Manufacturing, a small electronics assembly company, specializing in assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies within a 1600 square foot shop located in space #405 at 5968 N. Government Way, Dalton Gardens, Idaho which is zoned Commercial. The subject property is located on the east side of N. Government Way approximately .25 miles south of the intersection of E. Hanley Avenue and N. Government Way, adjacent to and north of Dalton Center. The parcel number is D140036300AA, and described as Dalton Gardens Addition Hayden Lake Irrigated Lands, N2-TR 300 EX RW Section 36, Township 51N, Range 04W. The property is owned by Hus Corporation, 5832 N. Government Way, Dalton Gardens, ID. The applicant has submitted documentation stating she may represent Hus Corporation in this application. Light Industrial uses are allowed in the Commercial Zone by Special Use Permit under Dalton City Code Title 5, Section 5-3-1. B.3.

The public hearing will be held at the Dalton Gardens City Hall, 6360 N. 4th Street, Dalton Gardens, Idaho on February 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such item should or should not be approved. Copies of the application packet is available at City Hall during regular office hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, closed 1 p.m. -2 p.m. for lunch). Written comments should be received no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28th. Comments can be emailed to clerk@daltongardens.com, mailed directly to Dalton Gardens City Hall at 6360 N. 4th Street, Dalton Gardens, ID 83815, or delivered in person to City Hall during regular business hours of 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
